Markham, Ontario | 2024 | $840K project

This project involved the replacement of an existing 150 kW and 250 kW generator with a new 1 MW Cummins diesel generator in a packaged, sound-attenuated enclosure with a self-contained sub-base tank. The facility—a Tier B television broadcast station with a data centre—also expanded its UPS infrastructure, adding four new 100 kW UPS units to complement an existing 120 kW UPS, providing increased redundancy.

As part of the design-build team, Lonergan Engineering designed and prepared the construction documents and coordinated with Cummins, Eaton, the contractor, and the owner to align system requirements and expectations.
