Lake simcoe regional airport

Oro Station, Ontario | 2025

Lake Simcoe Regional Airport completed an electrical service upgrade to provide the Maintenance Building with an independent primary power source from Hydro One. Prior to the upgrade, the Maintenance Building operated from the Terminal Building’s electrical service, which included a backup generator. The project fully isolated the Maintenance Building’s electrical system and included infrastructure to support a building addition with four Level 2 EV chargers. Work was completed in two phases: the initial service upgrade, followed by fleet upgrades, EV charging infrastructure, and generator backup integration.

Lonergan Engineering acted as the electrical consultant for this project.
