Overview:

Hard Rock Casino & Hotel
Gloucester, Ontario | 2025 | 300,000 sq. ft. | $350M project
Overview:
A multiphased expansion and renovation of the existing casino complex, including a 61,000 sq. ft. addition, 51,000 sq. ft. renovation, 91,000 sq. ft. six-story hotel, 29,000 sq. ft. of restaurants, and a 39,000 sq. ft. theatre. Lonergan Engineering fast-tracked a draft Integrated Testing Plan (ITP) to secure the City of Ottawa’s conditional building permit.

Sinclair Centre
Vancouver, British Columbia | 2024 | 550,000 sq. ft.
Overview:
The Sinclair Centre was a retroactive integrated systems testing project.The project required Government security clearance of “reliability status”for all team members. The facility consists of four historical buildings, mall concourse levels, and a connection to the Vancouver subway system. It is equipped with eight fire alarm networked nodes and is classified as a high-rise building. It houses critical government offices, including CRA, passport offices, RCMP, and Canada Border Customs, among others.

Aurora, Ontario | 2021 | 265,000 sq. ft.
Overview:
A 265,000 sq. ft. retirement living facility with a dedicated patient-assist floor. Lonergan Engineering led Integrated Testing Coordination, educating the team, crafting detailed schedules, and troubleshooting system interconnections to secure ULC listing.

Overview:
A Long Term Care facility, which includes nurse call systems and mental health wards. We conducted a full building review, identifying non-compliant or incomplete integrations, such as issues with the kitchen exhaust system, elevator recall, maglock release, fire pump loss of power, and generator troubles. We directed contractors to make necessary corrections, streamlining the Integrated Systems Testing and ensuring compliance for occupancy.

Overview:
This project involved multiphased occupancy with Building A, Building B, and underground parking. We worked closely with the design professionals to help expedite the process, complete testing, and achieve a satisfactory Integrated Testing Report for final occupancy.

Overview:
Zancor Centre is a new multi-use community recreation facility in King City. The center includes two ice pads, a field house, a multi-lane swimming pool, a full-size gymnasium, and more, designed to serve a variety of community needs.

Unifor National
North York, Ontario | 2020 | 300,000 sq. ft. | $515K project
Overview:
A full replacement of the occupied building’s fire alarm system, including a new control panel, annunciator panel, field devices, code corrections, and a two-stage voice communication system. The new system was installed in parallel and, once verified, the existing system was decommissioned without service interruption.

Overview:
The multiphased office tenant fit-out at CIBC Square, located at 141 Bay Street, spans floors P1, P2, 5-25. The project involves modifications to the existing building, ensuring integration of fire and life safety systems in the new tenant spaces.
