Barrie North Collegiate Institute
Barrie, Ontario | 2017 | 47,000 sq. ft. | $8.3M project
Overview:
A 47,000 sq. ft. addition and renovation to an existing school facility, including upgrades to all incoming services and expansion of existing systems. The site was redeveloped to accommodate the new building.
Role:
Lonergan Engineering Inc. provided full electrical design, prepared contract documents, and managed the electrical construction phase.
Scope of Work:
• Lighting design and photometric calculations
• Electrical load calculation
• Power distribution design
• Contract administration

Cameron Street Public School
Collingwood, Ontario | 2020 | 14,000 sq. ft. | $6.7M project
Overview:
A 14,000 sq. ft. addition with six classrooms, supporting spaces, a new gymnasium, and child care centre. Renovations reconfigured administrative, library, and gymnasium spaces. Electrical systems were expanded and upgraded throughout.
Role:
Lonergan Engineering Inc. provided complete electrical design, prepared contract documents, and managed construction for the electrical portion of the project.

Clearview Meadows Public School
Stayner, Ontario | 2019 | 9,000 sq. ft. | $2.5M project
Overview:
A 9,000 sq. ft. addition featuring six classrooms and supporting spaces, connected to the existing school building. The project included modifications to the existing facility and updates to electrical infrastructure.
Role:
Lonergan Engineering Inc. provided full electrical design, prepared contract documents, and managed the electrical construction phase.

Georgian College of Applied Arts and Technology
Barrie, Ontario | 2020 | 47,000 sq. ft. | $134K project
Overview:
A full replacement of the existing fire alarm system, including new fire alarm control panel, annunciator panel, and all field devices. Work was completed while the building remained occupied. All upgrades were made to meet current Ontario Building Code requirements.
Role:
Lonergan Engineering acted as prime consultant, providing design services, contract documents, CCDC issuance, payment certifications, and managing construction through to substantial completion.
